Take Kontrol Elite Basketball develops disciplined, coachable, and hardworking athletes who excel on and off the court. We provide a Christ-centered, character-driven program emphasizing excellence, integrity, teamwork, and leadership. Through skill development, competition, and mentorship we prepare athletes for the next level while teaching perseverance, humility, accountability, and respect.

TEYVION KIRK
Hi! My name is Teyvion Kirk, founder & CEO of Take Kontrol Elite Basketball. Basketball has been a huge part of my life from a young age. I was ranked top 10 player in the state of IL in HS. Received 20+ Division 1 Offers. Was a Division 1 starter for 4 years and a NCAA Division 1 - 1,000 point scorer. Played 4 years professionally overseas and have been associated with the NBA G-League.
I am dedicated to growing athletes both on and off the court. I believe in working hard, staying disciplined, and always pushing to be the best version of ourselves. My goal is to continually develop skills, embrace challenges, and make a positive impact on my teams and community.
Outside of basketball, I value learning, growth, and faith. I believe that the lessons we learn through sports—discipline, perseverance, and accountability—carry over into all areas of life. I am committed to being a Man and Coach who represents excellence, integrity, and dedication both on the court and off.
